111 West is a seven-storey residential courtyard building. The U-Shaped Plan optimizes views and access to daylight while maximizing the efficiency of the site. The courtyard in the centre of the plan offers a unique outdoor amenity where the residents will have chance encounters their neighbours. Street-front commercial spaces help tie the building to the emerging surrounding area and enhances the already growing commercial main street. This project is a good example of how RLA can deliver a unique solution on a difficult site.
